Chia Seed Yogurt



This is my first blog post so we will see how this goes! I suppose it will get easier the more I use the platform to write the blogs, but at the moment I have no idea what I am doing! haha!

Today on my instagram I talked about an easy healthier snack that I learned from another influencer, Amber Lancaster. If you're not following her, go check her out! Her stories and posts are inspiring and intriguing and the love for her baby boy is undeniable. He is such a cutie!

The recipe is for Chia Seed Yogurt. It is so simple and delicious! All you do is mix 1/4 cup chia seeds with 1 cup of milk. It can be any milk you like. I used vanilla oat milk. Stir it up in an airtight container and let the seeds soak up the milk and become soft overnight in the fridge. I stir it really well and once or twice during the time it is soaking to ensure I get the best consistancy. The next day I mix 2 tablespoons of the chia seeds mixture with 2-3 tablespoons of yogurt. I like using greek vanilla honey. Mix it up and top it with whatever toppings you like. Today I put apple and granola on top but I'll switch it up with whatever fruits I want or have on hand. I find the chia seed mixture will last me about a week. I try to eat it daily or every other day. It's also great in smoothies! It tastes so good and will fill you up!
